Gi Go Fund ~ https://gigo.org   “GI Go Fund was founded in 2006 in memory of Lt. Seth Dvorin, a childhood friend of the GI Go founders who was killed by an IED blast while serving in Iraq.   We provide employment assistance to veterans looking for work, housing and financial aid to veterans in their most desperate hour, as well as benefits assistance and legal support to military families struggling with civil or criminal matters. In addition, we are developing innovative programs to give veterans assistance in finding employment and developing a small business, transportation support, mentoring, job training, and much more. 


Habitat for Humanity - https://www.habitat.org/volunteer/near-you/veterans-build  “Safe, decent, affordable housing is the centerpiece of Veterans Build. In many communities, we are expanding programs to maintain and preserve homes and make them more energy-efficient and affordable. In partnership with The Home Depot Foundation, Habitat developed the Repair Corps program to offer critical home repairs to military veteran homeowners.” 


Housing Montana Heroes - https://www.thepoverellocenter.org/programs-and-services  (406)532-6685 "Our Veterans transitional housing programs provide up to 2 years of housing and full support to eligible Veterans living in homelessness. These programs offer the 1:1 support Veterans need to meet their goals and live healthier more sustainable lives.  Housing Montana Heroes provides supportive housing to 20 qualifying homeless Veterans. This program, located in our West Broadway Facility, serves men and women in segregated semi-private rooms, offers prepared meals, and provides commons spaces to recreate and support one another. The Valor House is run in collaboration with The Missoula Housing Authority and provides supportive housing to 17 qualifying homeless Veterans. Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors ~ https://homesforwoundedwarriors.com (480) 991-3047 “Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of supporting our injured United States military veterans by building and remodeling handicap accessible homes to suit their individual needs one wounded warrior at a time.”


Mighty Hero Homes, Inc ~ https://www.mightyherohomes.org  (770)842-1483  “Mighty Hero Homes exist for the purpose of creating affordable, permanent homes for the more than 37,000 homeless US veterans. We will eradicate veteran homelessness by constructing over 450 Mighty Hero Home Bases across the country by 2031. Each Base will house 84 veterans in patented Mighty Hero Homes (tiny homes, kit homes and modular homes reimagined), will provide a Training & Career Center, a Health Services Center, a Commissary, Veterans Park (with "Flag Hill) and Commercial Gardens (to provide "Base to Table" fresh vegetables for local restaurants and residents). Working closely with the VA, HUD and the local PHA, we will construct our Alpha site (Base-000) in McDonough, GA in 2022. After a series of After Action Reviews, we will commence expansion in 2023.”


National Coalition for Homeless Veterans ~ https://nchv.org (202)546-1969 The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) – a nonprofit organization governed by a 21-member board of directors – is the resource and technical assistance center for a national network of community-based service providers and local, state and federal agencies that provide emergency and supportive housing, food, health services, job training and placement assistance, legal aid and case management support for thousands of homeless veterans each year.”


Operation Homefront ~  https://operationhomefront.orgEstablished in 2002, Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors. The Home Depot Foundation is proud to support Operation Homefront to help repair, rehabilitate and retrofit homes of wounded warriors. The Foundation also supports Operation Homefront Villages where the families of wounded warriors live free of charge while their loved ones receive extended medical care and rehabilitation – often for six months to two years – near major military and VA hospitals in Washington, D.C., San Antonio, Texas, and San Diego, Calif. In addition to funding, Team Depot, The Home Depot’s associate-led volunteer force, provides its time and talents to many of the projects."

Soldier On ~  https://wesoldieron.org    “Soldier On is a private nonprofit organization committed to ending veteran homelessness. Since 1994, the organization has been providing homeless veterans with transitional housing and supportive services. In 2010, Soldier On opened the first Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Community, a permanent housing cooperative that provides formerly homeless veterans with safe, sustainable, affordable housing – transitioning them from homelessness to homeownership. This housing model will be replicated nationally as Soldier On continues to change the end of the story for homeless veterans throughout the country.”
